Luddy Hayden, Executive Director
Ludwick 'Luddy' Hayden is President of Luddy Hayden and Associates, LLC, an Adjunct Professor in the Business and Economics department at Bennett College, and Senior Fellow with the Phelps Stokes Fund.
Hayden was the former International Government Affairs Manager for Chevron Corporation in the company's Washington, D.C. Federal and International Government Affairs Office. In this capacity he represented Chevron's Africa strategic business interests and related internal clients. Hayden's primary advocacy centered on workplace
and international trade issues. But, he also provided support and project coordination to the company's international business units and International Relations staff on matters concerning primarily Africa business interests.
Hayden served on the Boards of Directors for Africare and the Constituency for Africa. He currently serves on the Board of the Africa Society of The National Summit on Africa as well as the Business Advisory Committees for the African Presidents Archives and Research Center (APARC) at Boston University, Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OICI), Education Africa U.S.A, and African Ancestry, Inc. He earned a BA in English Literature, a Master's degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and an MBA from Loyola College of Maryland.
