AABE-VA at the Virginia Food Bank's FEEDMORE Program

April 6, 2017

Although it was a stormy day, our wonderful group of volunteers (approx. 10) left the clouds outside and brought only sunshine into Central Virginia Food Bank - FEEDMORE with smiles of joy! (4.6.2017)

FeedMore is a Central Virginia Food Bank that brings hunger relief to 34 counties and cities in our region by acquiring food and distributing it through their network to aid impoverished individuals in the communities where they live. The food bank provides nearly 51,000 meals each day to our neighbors in Central Virginia who struggle with hunger. With your support we can make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

ABBE-VA's volunteers will be assisting in the Food Bank’s distribution facility. Tasks are of a physical nature and jobs may include sorting & packing perishable & non-perishable product, replenishing donations, and consist of bending and lifting up to 30 lbs.
