Jerome Davis Named Regional Vice-President PSCo

Xcel Energy has named Jerome Davis as its new Regional Vice President for Colorado. In this role, Davis is responsible for local government affairs and account management activities with city, county, commercial and industrial customers located throughout the state. Davis has been with the company more than 25 years in various roles of leadership. Most recently he has been the director of community relations, where he provided strategic leadership for community relations and economic development for the company. Prior to his last position, Davis was the Area Manager for the city and county of Denver and Aurora. He has also worked in substation engineering, corporate accounting and supplier diversity. “Jerome brings a tremendous knowledge of the company to this position and is well tied into the metro Denver and Colorado community,” said David Eves, President and CEO of Public Service Co. of Colorado, an Xcel Energy company. “The leadership that he has provided in fostering strong relationships with Denver and other communities as well as helping to get a new franchise agreement in place with Denver and Aurora has been very valuable for us.” Davis has a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information as well as an MBA, both from Regis University. Davis currently serves on the board of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, the Metro Denver Sports Commission, and is a member of the Metropolitan State College of Denver Foundation and Johnson and Wales University President’s Roundtable. Davis is also a member of the Denver chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy.
