Wilton Cedeno will move from director of Applications Services, Information Resources to director of Energy Policy and Regulatory Affairs. His responsibilities will include working on state regulatory affairs, to develop and implement internal and external communication strategies and advocacy-related-to-state energy policy, including developing company positions on state energy policy issues.
Mr. Cedeno joined Con Edison as a management intern in 1986. Since then he has worked in various areas of the company. In System Operations, Mr. Cedeno held the positions of district operator and senior system operator. Mr. Cedeno was also an account executive with Energy Services; an analyst with Substation Operations; plant manager of Hudson Avenue Generating Station; and general manager of Staten Island Electric Operations.
He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a certificate in Energy Management from New York Institute of Technology, and he completed a two-year telecommunication program at New York University.
Mr. Cedeno has served for two years as National Chairman of the American Association of Blacks in Energy, and is a recipient of Con Edison's Living Our Values award.
