Advance you career by leading our 12-person Instruments & Controls (I&C) Department tech team dedicated to supporting the vast array of control systems used in the production of electricity.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, scheduling and execution of site I&C activities. This will involve working with Production, Outage & Scheduling, Maintenance, Engineering and other site resources to ensure timely planning, scheduling and execution of the site T-8 integrated schedule.
Scope of duties and responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day supervision of all site I&C Technicians ensuring work is completed with safety, quality and the environment as top priorities
- Provide support for the T-8 planning process by determining work sequence and resource requirements to complete planned work
- Provide leadership and direction for department procedures, reporting and budget oversight
- Provide coaching and counseling to maximize technician engagement and performance
- Provide a clear vision for the department’s future
Our ideal candidate qualifications:

An associate’s degree in a scientific/technical field

3+ years of experience in an I&C environment or similar; Industrial Distributed Control System experience, preferably Emerson, or equivalent; power plant experience is a plus

Proven ability to lead and supervise teams

Self-motivated, organized, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities

Able to work weekends and extended hours as necessary
