Help us identify and correct operational, design, and maintenance problems with plant systems by providing technical support to the Operations and Maintenance Departments on a day-to-day basis. As a site system owner, you will: monitor plant system conditions and establish long-range planning to improve availability and reliability of systems; perform inspections and identify repairs needed during periodic and forced outages; and specify, procure, and install replacement components.
As system and equipment expert you will be responsible for:
- Periodic and forced outage support: Perform inspections needed to support planning and identify repairs needed during periodic and forced outages; access forced outage scope plans, develop root cause analysis for failure modes, and develop repair plans
- System health: Formulate strategic plan for equipment; set predictive and preventative maintenance plans; set up long term strategic plans and develop input to strategic business plan; monitor plant conditions and establish long-range planning to improve availability and reliability
- Managing minor equipment projects by specifying, procuring, and installing replacement plant components including preparing bid specifications and managing contractors performing installation
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering/Technology, or equivalent; will consider Associates degree in Welding Technology with 10-15 years of relevant experience
- General knowledge of power plant design, operation, maintenance, and power piping welding
Position will be filled at the highest level based on education, skills and experience.
