The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center is a nonpartisan, foreign affairs think tank working on a broad range of energy issues, notably global decarbonization, energy geopolitics, energy security, and international climate action. The Global Energy Center works alongside government, industry, civil society, and public stakeholders to devise pragmatic solutions to the geopolitical, sustainability, and economic challenges of the changing global energy landscape.
Participants in the Global Energy Center paid Spring 2021 internship (Young Global Professionals Program) will have the opportunity to collaborate in the writing process for publications and articles, draft and publish their own content, support program administation, conduct in-depth research, and contribute to event programming. Working in a fast-paced environment, interns will be encouraged to provide new ideas and recommendations on how to build on the program/center’s foundation. Participants can expect to gain valuable skills, experience, knowledge, and contacts in the US domestic and international energy policy communities.
The program will begin in January 2020 and conclude in May 2020. All opportunities are remote as well as paid hourly. Eligible candidates will be undergraduate juniors and seniors, graduate students, as well as recent graduates. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 20th. Applicants should be able to work 25 hrs/week and be eligible for employment in the United States.
