New Jersey Natural Gas, a subsidiary of NJR is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to provide day to day supervision of the storeroom activities. Assist in ordering and receiving material for all storeroom locations. Assist in handling Meter Shop issues.

Major Responsibilities:
•Asist on day to day inventory related issues for all NJNG Storerooms, Meter Shop and alliance contractor storerooms
•Review and approve all applicable purchase requisitions and orders
•Approve union time sheets
•Perform weekly/monthly cycle counts for NJNG and alliance partner storerooms. Provide analysis on an as needed basis.
•Report rejected material in a timely manner to NJNG Quality Standards engineer.
•Analyze current stock levels to determine appropriate replenishment timeline and material that should be sold off.
•Prepare all required reports for internal and external stakeholders
•Periodically verify inventory levels at offsite third-party locations
•Support all audits as they relate to material management
•Report and when able remediate any potential material sourcing issues
Position Specifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Material/Inventory management or related field
•At least five years of knowledge and experience in the gas and utility industry
•Previous supervisory/managerial experience
•Must be highly motivated, have excellent presence and strong written and oral communication skills
•Knowledge of PC-based computer applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and particularly PowerPoint
•Critical thinking skills and ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences
•Ability to build partnerships and influence others regardless of level
