AABE Virginia Chapter
Dear Members & Guests:
The Richmond, Virginia Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is currently inactive. We are seeking new members to lead and promote the mission of AABE. We are looking to diversify our membership with new members from various energy companies within the area and increase our membership within our existing companies. We are looking for energy professionals of African-American descent (but race is not an issue) in all energy sectors (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, government, telecom, energy services and water) to be represented and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. Minority college students studying energy related degrees are also welcome to join. AABE’s mission is to be a voice for African-Americans, the elderly and other minorities when energy issues impact our community. We also support and shape the minds of young students and new professionals to be good corporate citizens within the energy industry. With these goals in mind, I ask for your help. We find out all too often that it's only a handful of people supporting the work we do as a charity organization. It is time for you to lend a helping hand in making AABE a great organization to belong to and get involved. Please download the membership application on our National Membership Enrollment Webpage. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an EMAIL. Thanks in advance for your help in revitalizing this chapter. Sincerely, Sabrina Campbell AABE Mid-Atlantic Region Coordinator printer friendly page | 161 reads
