Dear Members and Guests: The Tennessee Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of eight chapters in the Southeast region of the organization. Headquartered in Memphis, our member companies include (but not limited to): Chattanooga Gas Company, Christian Brothers University, Jackson Energy Authority, Memphis Light, Gas & Water Division (MLGW), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Valero Energy Corporation. Minority professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE. Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. The AABE Tennessee Chapter was proud to host the 28th Annual AABE National Conference in April 2005. As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, senior officers, committees, activities and programs. I look forward to your participation in AABE. Sincerely, Lisa N.
