Please join the American Association of Blacks in Energy® (AABE®) in August for the 2007 Western Regional Conference (WRC) “Renewing our Energy”.  This conference will be held in Denver, Colorado, August 1-3, 2007, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel located in downtown Denver.  Issues of interest to the regional market, such as climate change, renewables and resource integration, supplier diversity, and hydro technologies will be addressed at the conference. 

The AABE organization is a national non-profit with 36 chapters nationwide, was organized in 1977. The primary mission of the AABE organization is to provide a forum for energy professionals to educate themselves on current and upcoming energy issues, to make significant contributions to the formation of domestic and international energy policy, and also to inform people of color and others of energy issues that impact their daily lives.  The organization actively participates in national energy policy discussions and annually hosts a national conference.

The AABE Western Region is one of six regional areas that support the broader AABE mission through its chapters.  The western chapters are located in Seattle, Portland, Denver, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Anchorage.
