NJR is seeking an Accounting Analyst II to assist accounting manager with monthly closing of books, analysis of accounts and miscellaneous projects.
Major Responsibilities:
• Book monthly journals
• Prepare bank deposits for all companies
• Assist in analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Coordinate all Sox testing for accounting function for all NJR companies
• Miscellaneous reporting
Position Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Five years of experience in accounting or related field
• Proficient in spreadsheets and modeling concepts
• Knowledge of JDE, CIS systems a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
