 The Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP)® helps energy and air regulators and nongovernmental organizations navigate the complexities of power sector policy and regulation in China, Europe, India and the U.S. Can you formulate solutions to power, climate and economic challenges, provide technical assistance, and write and speak publicly on these issues in a regulatory context? If so, we just might be looking for you.

Our ideal team member will demonstrate that they:

  • Can analyze policy developments in areas relevant to RAP’s work. These areas may include power sector transformation, performance-based regulation, beneficial electrification, distributed energy resources, distribution system planning, energy efficiency, renewable energy, competitive electricity market design, rate design, low- and moderate-income customers, and energy-related climate and environmental regulation.
  • Are able to research and write policy and technical briefs, undertake critical analysis, prepare reports and postings, message on social media, and present to groups.
  • Are able to support field activity, which may include attending conferences and workshops, making presentations, networking, and identifying opportunities for engagement with relevant stakeholders.
