The Talent Specialist will be a thought leader, skilled at creating and maintaining positive and productive relationships and leading organizational change. The ideal candidate has the ability to collaborate across departments through education and relationship building and is skilled at attracting and retaining diverse talent within the workplace. In addition, the Talent Specialist will be a strategic partner, developing staff programing that fosters a positive and inclusive experience for all. This position reports to the co-Ceos and is located in Summit, NJ, with the potential to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment
· Lead recruiting to ensure that our external recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers are equipped to find diverse talent
· Manage external recruiters, recruiting process and recruiting budget
· Partner with Marketing to build an employer brand that resonates with diverse candidates
· Work cross-functionally with senior leaders to understand, identify and scope company-wide hiring goal
Training and Advancement
· Develop employee training program to support professional development
· Partner with departmental leads to develop career advancement plans for departments and employee roles
Implement DEI Strategic Plan
· Track metrics and processes that measure progress and accountability related to our DEI Strategic Plan, communicate progress to leadership and organization
· Drive research-based insights to diagnose and assess the impact of specific DEI strategies and initiatives
· Partner with executives/leadership to design and report on function-specific DEI action plans based on quantitative & qualitative data
· Design and implement diversity and inclusion learning and capability building plan
· Work in concert with external D&I stakeholders and partners to build a strong reputation as a great place to work for all and cultivate a network of appropriate D&I connections
