DER and Electrification Analyst and Senior DER and Electrification Consultant

Cadeo is seeking an analyst and senior consultant with distributed energy resource and/or electrification experience to support research projects with market actors, utilities, and government agencies. We are looking for an analytical individual that balances strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, experienced with applying economic, statistical, and/or engineering frameworks, and comfortable engaging subject matter experts to ask the right questions.

Typical tasks involve combining and analyzing data from devices, utilities, market actors, and third-party sources to deliver insights and solutions to the problems that our clients face. Regardless of the task, this position will play a critical role in producing high-quality, accurate deliverables that communicate actionable findings with compelling narratives and visualizations both to internal and external clients. The ideal candidate tackles challenging projects with optimism and curiosity and can apply a structured approach to complex problems where solutions are often not well-defined.

The senior consultant will help to shape the vision for Cadeo’s emerging DER and Electrification practice, working with the management team to develop strategy around business development, new capabilities, and talent acquisition. The senior consultant will act as a leader to junior staff, provide client management on projects, identify new opportunities, and aid in the development of work product. Typical project tasks may include engaging with stakeholders, developing execution plans, identifying the appropriate research approach, or presenting on project insights. Regardless of the task, this position will play a critical role in producing high-quality, accurate deliverables that communicate actionable findings with compelling narratives both to internal and external clients.
