Senior Gas Engineer

This position is located in the Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP) of the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission). The Commission oversees the utility and competitive companies that provide natural gas, electricity, and telecommunications services to District of Columbia ratepayers. This Senior Engineer-Gas position is in the Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP) of the Commission. The Commission oversees the utility and competitive companies that provide natural gas, electricity, and telecommunication services to District of Columbia ratepayers. The Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP) provides infrastructure, system planning and engineering expertise in support of the Commission's regulatory activities relative to natural gas, electric and local telecommunications services, including infrastructure and systems for the transmission and distribution of natural gas and electricity. In this role, you will have an opportunity to interface with key stakeholders from a variety of federal and state agencies, including the DOE, FERC, PHMSA, as well as DCs DOEE and DDOT agencies. You will also interface with engineering professionals of Fortune 500 energy companies, energy developers and providers, as well as regulatory professionals from across the Nation.
