Edison Electric Institute, one of the nation's premier trade associations, has an outstanding opportunity for a Director, State Regulatory Analysis. The Director will provide overall support to EEI's State Regulatory Practice including providing EEI members with strategic and technical assistance on key regulatory issues and working with trade allies and stakeholders. The Director will serve as a technical expert and develop issue briefs, policy papers, technical reports, and trend analyses. Additional responsibilities include working with the EEI's Smart Energy Infrastructure team; this includes developing policy positions, regulatory objectives, and strategies related to grid services.

The successful applicant will have a college degree in economics, political science or a related field and at least five years of regulatory or utility industry experience. A Master's degree is a plus. Applicants must demonstrate technical knowledge of the utility industry, consensus building and interpersonal skills, fact-finding and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize.
