Assistant Director - Utilities and Energy Management

Manage the operations and maintenance of the Colleges HVAC utility production and distribution systems for the main campus. HVAC utilities produce and distribute steam, chilled water, and high temperature hot water. Support the operations and maintenance of the high voltage electric, domestic water, and sewer service systems.
Lead the development and implementation of a major Energy and Water Savings Program for a campus having 1.9 million gsf and 75 buildings. This includes planning a multi-year sequence of projects and carrying out these projects through both direct and indirect project management.
Develop appropriate supporting business case to justify energy conservation projects.
Manage campus-wide HVAC projects and the maintenance of campus-wide HVAC.
Develop and maintain a Utilities Master Plan working document to minimize full lifecycle costs and risks related to campus heating, cooling, electrical, water, and sewer systems.
Provide supervision for the MEP Project Manager and the HVAC Foreman.
