Engineering Design Supervisor

CHELCO, a member-owned, 51,000 meter electric co-op, is seeking a results-oriented, problem solver to be our new Engineering Design Supervisor. This person supervises the Engineering Design Departments work and personnel. The jobs major focus is to ensure system design, capacity, and system reliability are fully optimized, while controlling costs and maximizing member satisfaction. Provides technical support to Engineering & Operations employees in solving problems that may arise.

Position requires a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 4-6 years directly related experience or masters degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-4 years directly related experience. Previous experience in electrical utility and/or licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in SCADA preferred.

The normal work week is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional travel within service area.
