DESCRIPTION
The GUC Information Technology Department is seeking a System Analyst (Application Developer) to assist in gathering requirements, designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting software programs and applications that support core organizational functions. The position will work along-side an energetic, award-winning team of experienced technical professionals.
The position will perform both application development and system administration duties. Examples of commercial off the shelf enterprise technology the position may support include: Oracle Work and Asset Management, Microsoft SharePoint, and ESRI GIS. Application development technologies will include; web, .net and mobile development with a focus on Apple IOS.
QUALIFICATIONS
GUC is searching for an experienced Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess one or more years of experience in application development and system administration and be proficient in at least one current programming language.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, business or related field is preferred, a 2-year degree in relevant field will be considered.
Experience with HTML, CSS, Objective C/Swift, .NET, JAVA, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Node.js and web services are preferred.
Knowledge of source control, GIS, MVC frameworks, PL/SQL, and web services integration are desired.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required.
