Senior Policy Analyst Environment Energy & Transportation

NATIONAL GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION (NGA) is the bipartisan organization of the nation's governors. Through NGA, governors share best practices, speak with a collective voice on national policy and develop innovative solutions that improve state government and support the principles of federalism. The NGA Center for Best Practices (NGA Center)is the nation's only dedicated consulting firm for governors and their key policy staff. Its mission is to assist governors in developing and implementing innovative solutions to public policy challenges.

The Senior Policy Analyst will provide assistance to governors and their senior staff to identify, adapt and implement innovative policies and practices related to energy and environmental issues. The preferred candidate will have solid experience and content knowledge related to state-level energy policies and programs. A degree in public policy, environmental studies, energy or environmental law or relevant disciplines is required and a masters degree is strongly preferred.
