The Office of Environmental Management (EM) Headquarters, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking a motivated and highly-qualified candidate for the full-time position of Office Director for the Office of Procurement Planning. The mission of the Office is to provide overall EM acquisition strategy, as well as coordinating site and project specific acquisition and contract strategy. This includes providing long-range strategic planning and preparation regarding the EM acquisition program, ensuring adequate project planning practices and conducting strategic acquisition planning, contract development, and the oversight and execution of procurement (contract selection process). The Director serves as the principal procurement advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Energy for EM and assists the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition and Project Management.
