Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Safety, Security, and Quality Programs

The Office of Environmental Management (EM) Headquarters, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking a motivated and highly-qualified candidate for the full-time position of Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Safety, Security, and Quality Programs.   The mission of the Office is to implement DOE/EM-wide Integrated Safety Management and Integrated Safeguards and Security Management oversight activities, the Defense Nuclear Facility Safety Board recommendations and issues, standards assurance for major project planning and execution, operational safety and awareness programs, and quality assurance programs.  The Office manages the safeguards, security, and emergency preparedness activities for EM.  The Office also serves as the focal point for providing day-to-day safety operational oversight, feedback, interface, and direction to the EM field/operations offices.  To apply for the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Safety, Security, and Quality Programs position, see Job Announcement Number:  DOE-ES-12-EM-00111 at https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/401060500.
