Become a significant contributor to the Company’s gas customer value proposition in this key leadership role!

By developing a vision and successfully utilizing internal and external resources, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the reliability and deliverability of the gas distribution system, supporting a high level of service to the customer. Responsible for gas distribution project planning and deliverability for southeastern Michigan, you will work with outside agencies like MDOT, cities, municipalities and counties to ensure that we are coordinating relocation projects to meet these customers’ needs.

Scope of duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing and communicating project options for delivery requests including new load, asset relocation and the resolution of customer issues/complaints

  • Interfacing directly with larger gas customers, ranging from commercial to municipalities, to communicate system performance and modifications that may affect the customer

  • Leading the effort for project evaluation and selection to improve the integrity of our distribution system

  • Coordinating and prioritizing the completion of system improvement projects

  • Providing local engineering support to assist customer and field related concerns on the gas distribution system

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of exempt experience with knowledge of Gas Infrastructure

  • Prior supervisory experience and proven leadership abilities

  • A sound knowledge of the Company’s gas distribution system and standards


The location of this position is negotiable (Southeast Michigan zone is preferred).
