Help us manage the engineering records for over 700 Generation projects valued at $2.2B!
As part of the Generation Document Management (GDM) organization, which is responsible for managing engineering records associated with Generation projects and plant modifications, such as drawings, manuals, transmittals, correspondences, requests for information, and engineering change notices, you will oversee document management activities and mentor employees for the implementation of GDM’s document management system to ensure efficient completion of the processes.
Scope of duties and responsibilities:
- Provide definition and documentation of the project document management processes
- Define and capture metrics for progress tracking
- Provide implementation services for SharePoint and ProjectWise
- Act as a communication liaison between active projects and the GDM support team
- Provide expertise to projects during the implementation process and thereafter
- Define, document and provide training in support of the GDM process
- Audit projects to ensure alignment with GDM’s policies and procedures for configuration management control of engineering documents
- Assist and guide project team in the utilization of the electronic data management system and process
Our ideal candidate qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education

10 years of applied working experience

Document management education or experience; Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Construction Documents Technology (CDT) preferred

Knowledge and understanding of construction/project management business terms, terminologies and concepts related to document management

Excellent technical writing skills and oral communication skills

Experience with intranet publishing of documentation and content management, such as SharePoint, ProjectWise, LoadSpring, Contract Manager or equivalent

Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office, Acrobat, SharePoint, ProjectWise and AutoCAD
