Take direct responsibility for maintaining our asset management software program!
The successful candidate will be the primary custodian for the Cascade Assets Management software package used to track equipment and maintenance in over 1000 electrical substations. This will include working with field personnel to troubleshoot problems and keep Cascade operational on their laptops and field devices; entering new equipment and data into Cascade; retiring removed equipment; and general operations. Additional duties include maintaining the underground equipment safety inspection database and creating demand maintenance orders in SAP.
Our ideal candidate will possess:

Associates degree in computer science or a related technical field

A general understanding of computer hardware, experience with programming languages (SQL, C, C++, Access Basic, etc.) and experience with Microsoft Office (including macros and programming knowledge) is required

Experience with SAP, Remote Desktop or Netop, MicroStation and/or GIS are a plus

Patience and a willingness to work and perform troubleshooting with field employees (typically by telephone)

Ability to be flexible and multitask as necessary
