Advance your career by leading an electric distribution crew responsible for safe, efficient and cost effective construction, metering and storm restoration projects.
Working within the Customer Field Services organization, you will supervise a team of 12-20 bargaining unit Electric Service Workers, Electric Lines Crews and Electric Meter Workers, as well as manage/monitor work performed by non-company employees The work involves a mixture of standard to advanced supervisory and operating responsibilities. Additionally, you are expected to have a thorough understanding of policy coupled with leadership skills to resolve process and employee issues.
Scope of responsibilities will include:

Managing successful headquarter business operations in a cost effective fashion while maintaining a safe work environment

Collaboration with various departments, peers and business partners

Developing direct reports in both business knowledge and technical skills

Reviewing work plans and prudently managing resources

Initiating and leading change to improve results

Administering the Working Agreement while dealing effectively with local union leadership
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Typically 2-1/2 years of successful performance as an Electric Field Leader and substantial completion of the prescribed Leadership Development curriculum; 3-5 years as a Journeyman Lineman or 2 years of management experience is preferred; construction management/project management experience is also preferred
- Working knowledge of ESW work/mat type management and priority, in addition to dispatch and scheduling processes, resources management, ARCOS and the Working Agreement is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to resolve process and employee issues
- Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in routine and non-routine/emergency situations with minimal guidance
- Willingness to work outside of normal work hours including on-call and responding to emergencies during any time of the day, including evenings and weekends
