Help us maintain NERC compliance on our High Voltage Distribution lines!
You will work with the current NERC Engineer to oversee the NERC PRC-005-2 compliance activities for the HVD system, with responsibility for the identification, naming and entering of equipment that falls under PRC-005-2 into the Cascade Asset Management tool, as well as developing test procedures, test plans and tracking reports to ensure compliance.
Additional duties will include:
- Education of Electric System Reliability and Electric System Maintenance & Operations personnel
- Audit response and periodic status reporting to management
- Support and/or performance of testing procedures in substations
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; PE designation is a plus
- Familiarity with protective relaying and Instrument and Control systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Cascade Asset Management tool and NERC PRC-005-2 a plus
