Help us provide critical and quality engineering service to our customers!

As a key contributor to the I&C Division, you will provide project lead and workload management / oversight for projects in the Eastern area to support Capital and O&M projects ranging in scope from complete new electric substations down to single I&C device modifications and change-outs, including smart/intelligent I&C devices on electric lines. As a member of the staff/leadership team, you will also be expected to contribute to staff decisions and discussions, and help to shape the future direction of the Division in technology, process, managerial and administrative areas.


Your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting / spearheading efforts to improve division/section processes in meeting common objectives
  • Interfacing with project planners, project managers, schedulers, construction coordinators/supervisors, protection engineers, electric field lab, and design engineers in both the substation and HVD lines groups
  • Developing and responding to project scope documents, timelines, cost and manpower estimates, etc, and resolve potential issues that may arise
  • Making occasional field visits, usually to electric substations or generating plants, to define project scope, determine existing conditions or meet with field technical employees


Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Control or Substation Design experience a plus
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, be extremely self-motivated, and able to motivate/develop others
  • Ability to work successfully within a diverse team environment and with employees of varying technical skills and grade levels
  • Strong leadership, organizational and technical skills; supervisory experience a plus
  • SAP experience, CAD, MS Access, MS Excel, programming skills a plus
