Join our Energy Delivery Project Management organization and make a contribution in achieving internal gas infrastructure project goals successfully!
In support of the Company's overall business strategy, this fast paced role will assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of gas transmission & storage and gas distribution projects, with a particular emphasis on those investments involving large customers, compliance and regulatory requirements, reliability improvements, and infrastructure modernization.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining project plans that provide timely deliverables in order to achieve project operational objectives
- Meeting project financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, monitoring costs and controlling project expenditures
- Identifying initial risks, issues, and constraints potentially impacting the project success and develop mitigation plans
- Identifying, prioritizing, driving and monitoring key tasks for the project and holding team members accountable
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; Master's in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is also preferred
- 3+ years of project management/engineering experience with demonstrated capability to lead medium to large scale projects, simultaneously with multiple small scale projects
- The ability to work collaboratively, take action in solving problems while exhibiting good judgment, and achieve desired results/goals
- Good project management leadership skills with working knowledge of and experience with project stage gates
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of gas utility business
- Experience with Quality Control, Six Sigma and/or Lean Methodologies preferred
