This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dynamic professionals that provide mission-critical project leadership and management of complex capital projects. Current projects include the corporate air quality control systems installation, the rebuild of Ludington Pumped Storage Facility, boiler rebuilds, wind turbine installations, and gas compressor stations.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Fostering collaborative coordination between the Engineer, OEM, contractor project personnel, internal and external stakeholders, and the plant
- Providing on-site project engineering, design coordination, and field engineering support throughout all phases of the project, from preliminary engineering through project start-up and turnover, all while promoting safety as a number one priority
- Striving to meet key results for each project in the areas of quality, schedule, budget, leadership, ethics, and teamwork
- Providing overall coordination and implementation of a network of PLCs into the site control system
- Leading the integration of control for gas fields
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Professional Engineer license is preferred
- 7 years of experience in project engineering, with the demonstrated capability to contribute to large scale projects or multiple medium scale projects
- The ability to review and understand design specs and drawings and verify completeness both in design and installation
- ability to
- manage contracts as well as understand scheduling concepts
- Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills
