You will serve as a single point of contact with the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) for field inspections of Consumers Energy's gas transmission pipeline, compression, storage, and measurement and regulation facilities.
Among your related duties you will:
- Coordinate scheduling for field headquarter inspections, and responses to non-compliance and information requests
- Provide subject matter expertise for questions arising during inspections
- Coordinate and assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory action item resolutions
- Manage Field Contact Database to MPSC and maintain Gas Regulatory Action Item (GRAI) records for inspections and non-compliances
- Act as liaison with Energy Operations and support efforts to ensure timely and accurate completion of Gas Transmission & Storage compliance work
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- SharePoint, SAP, database, project management skills are preferred
