Help us develop methods and systems for enhancing our Distribution platform through innovative, forward looking vision!
Use your strong analytical skills to help us lay the groundwork and add significant value to our Grid Modernization implementation plan. In this role you will oversee aspects of both system model creation and maintenance, and also manage contract services involvement for statewide field asset data collection during a multi-year inspection and documentation process. This will involve vendor and product testing of field, communication and software components, architectural system design, and deployment of the new distribution platform.
Among your related duties you will:
- Collect field data about our distribution system, including phasing, conductor size, pole characteristics and transformer locations
- Add collected data into the GIS system and an Asset Management platform to be used by multiple departments
- Integrate efforts by taking key device attributes and aligning them with our systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with CYME or other load flow and system analysis software packages
- Knowledge/experience with MS Office, GIS software, and Electric Distribution system design
