Utilize your ingenuity, critical thinking and advanced technical skills to respond to and solve complex customer inquires and system performance issues.
Working without direct supervision, you will interact with both internal and external clients, customers and crews, giving and receiving complex technical/scientific information. This will involve managing customer expectations, resolving complex system performance issues, and sharing system planning and performance improvement plans with customers at large. You will use myriad sources of technical and policy information to make decisions, and be able to anticipate the impact of those actions and/or decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Identifying, developing and evaluating planning and reliability improvement solutions
* Preparing engineering drawings for new business requests or system improvement projects
* Maintaining system records and databases
* Estimating customer and system loads
* Field checking sites for construction readiness, time-slotting and scheduling work
* Making cost estimates and preparing billing statements
* Managing, communicating and resolving customer complaints
Qualifications for this position include:
* An Associate’s degree in a technical field with 48 credits spread equally in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Electricity and other engineering/technical areas
* Excellent people skills, strong communication abilities
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ownership of a vehicle and valid driver’s license required for field work and storm restoration duties
