Advance your power plant or heavy industrial career by providing leadership, supervision and organization in the area of Project Close Out for our Engineering Services West Side Project Controls Group!
Using a keen sense of initiative to assimilate and analyze data from various sources while factoring multiple systems or processes into decisions, you’ll perform complex analytical, technical and administrative tasks to develop technical solutions, systems or procedures and implement recommendations. This will include operational analysis, technical design, system troubleshooting and project coordination.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating configuration control, data management and project management
- Ensuring that newly installed or modified electrical or mechanical equipment is properly identified and classified
- Interpreting technical drawings, plant instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and schematics
- Analyzing and interpreting technical data to create equipment records, maintenance plans and bills of material within SAP
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree (a plus!) or High School diploma/GED with relevant experience
- Power plant or heavy industry experience
- An understanding of SAP, equipment identification, functional locations, P&ID's, Wiring Diagrams (WD's), databases and the functionality of both mechanical and electrical equipment
- Exceptional communication skills with strong customer focus
