Help us analyze, monitor, maintain and deliver reliable high voltage power (46 kV and above) to our customers! We’re currently seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer to perform planning of the electrical system, 46 kV and above, to insure an adequate and reliable supply of electricity to our customers, and maintain compliance with NERC standards.
Among your primary duties, you will:
Assess the 46 kV and above electrical system relative to thermal capacity, voltage, reactive capacity, short-circuit capability, and reliability additions
Develop, justify, and propose system improvement projects
Analyze and coordinate large customer projects, generator interconnections, transmission company interconnections, and other utility additions
Oversee capital projects, including schedule, cost, and scope
Review and ensure compliance with various NERC planning standards
Meet with customers to discuss their technical and electrical supply needs
