Central SW Louisiana Chapter Home

Welcome to the AABE Central and Southwest Louisiana Chapter Website

Dear Members and Guests:

The Central & Southwest Louisiana Chapter (CSWL) of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of nine chapters in the Southwest region of the organization. Headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana, the CSWL Chapter was chartered into AABE in 1996. Our member companies include (but are not limited to): Cleco Power, the City of Alexandria, and several minority-owned small businesses. Minority professionals in all energy sectors (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE.

Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, senior officers, committees, activities and programs. I look forward to your participation in AABE.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Hall, President

Central & Southwest Louisiana Chapter
