Mississippi Chapter Mission

The AABE Mississippi Chapter is one of seven chapters in the Southwest Region of the organization. It is a strong, viable team-oriented chapter with committed leadership and dedicated membership.

The Goals of the AABE Mississippi Chapter are as follows:

  • To support the agenda of the National Office of AABE;
  • To increase awareness of energy-related issues within our communities;
  • To provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to graduating minority high school seniors accepted at accredited institutions for careers in energy-related fields;
  • And to provide value-added programming to our membership.

These goals are designed to incorporate activities sponsored by the National Office of AABE, to impact the community through student activities, mentoring programs and educational forums and to provide opportunities for leadership and service for the membership.
