Daryl E. Brown is currently Supply Chain Manager at Mississippi Power Company. He was formerly the Assistant to the President for Mississippi Power Company. He has held various positions at both Mississippi Power and Georgia Power Company for the past 13 years having worked as JacksonCounty and Laurel Area Manager, Residential/Office Retail Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Marketing Team Leader, and Residential/Commercial Marketing Representative.Daryl received his Bachelor of Science (Industrial Engineering) from MississippiStateUniversity.

In 2006, Daryl served as the President of the Jackson County Chamber Board, President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of AABE and an Executive Board Member of the Jackson & George County United Way.He is a recent graduate of the Jackson County Leadership Program and a member of the Pascagoula Rotary Club.

In addition to his civilian occupation, Daryl is also a Major in the United States Army Reserves where he served on the 6th Battalion 100th Division's Staff.He has held several leadership roles for the past 17 years to include Battalion Communication Officer, Company Executive Officer, Observer Controller, and Platoon Leader.During his military career he has been responsible for planning, preparation, execution and evaluations for company and platoon size elements.

In the past, Daryl has served as a member of the Jackson County Base Realignment & Closure (BRAC) Committee, Vision Steering Committee for the Jackson County Chamber, and Founding Member and President of the Newton MS Optimist Club.
