Gulf Coast Chapter of AABE

Dear Members and Guests

The Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy is one of eleven chapters in the Southeast Region of the organization. Our membership includes representatives residing along the Gulf of Mexico from energy companies within the northern coastal region states of Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Member companies currently include: Alabama Power, Chevron, Hill Consulting, Gulf Power, Mississippi Power, and the Southern Company.

Minority professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewable, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE.

Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, committees, activities and programs. I look forward to your participation in AABE.

 Sincerely,

Lennon Brown III, President Gulf Coast Chapter
