Georgia Tech Chapter Home

Welcome to the AABE Georgia Institute of Technology Student Chapter Website

Dear Members and Guests:

The Georgia Tech Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of six student chapters in the organization. Our member institutions include (but not limited to): Georgia Institute of Technology, the Atlanta University Center (Morehouse College, Spelman College, Morris Brown College, etc.), and surrounding higher education institutions in Atlanta.

College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are encouraged to participate in AABE. We offer leadership development, mentoring, community service and employment opportunities.

Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. The Georgia Tech Chapter is proud to announce that it will participate in the 2009 AABE National Conference in Orlando during the month of April.

As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, senior officers, committees, activities and programs. I look forward to your participation in AABE.

Sincerely,

Dimitri O. Hughes
