Denver Area Chapter Scholarship Committee

The goal of this committee is to promote the events and activities of AABE throughout the year utilizing press releases, various forms of media outreach and positively position the organization to its members, leadership and company leaders. In addition, this committee oversees the annual scholarship awards program for this chapter.

The purpose of the AABE DAC Clarke Watson Scholarship is to assist African American, Hispanic and Native American students with the cost of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution in energy related fields.

In May 2008, the DAC presented $2,000 each to Camriel Coleman of Brighton and Josh Dickerson of Aurora, both are attending the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
