Welcome to AABE Cincinnati Chapter Website
Dear Members and Guests:
On behalf of the Officers for the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy, I would like to welcome you to our chapter website.
The American Association of Blacks in Energy is dedicated to ensure the input of minorities into the developments of energy policy, research; development technologies, and environmental issues. We support our youth positively by mentoring high school students; awarding scholarships to college bound students; and the promotion of young professionals within the energy industry. The Cincinnati Chapter is headquartered in the state of Ohio. Our member companies include (but not limited to) Duke Energy, Public Utility Commission of Ohio and The U.S. Government Department of Energy. It is one of nine AABE Chapters in the Midwest Region of the organization. Minority professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge about the industry when topics arise. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to participate in AABE.
As you travel through our website, in the AABE Cincinnati, Ohio Chapter you will find information about our Mission, History, Officers and our Committees including: fundraising, membership, legislative, scholarship, education & training and our schedule of monthly meetings. Our Golf Tournament and Scholarship applications are attached below.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Jim Vickers. Thanks and I look forward to your participation.
Sincerely, Charles L. Session, Jr. President; Cincinnati, Ohio Chapter, The American Association of Blacks in Energy
