The mission of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (NEOAABE) is to further the initiatives of the national organization on a local level. We’re working to encourage the northeast Ohio community, especially minorities, to learn more about energy-related issues, and participate in initiatives focusing on energy efficiency, governmental energy policies, environmental issues, the nuclear energy industry, energy research and development, and energy technologies.
The vision of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy is to provide knowledge and guidance to consumers, businesses and community foundations in order to enhance economic development in northeast Ohio. This will be achieved by developing partnerships with northeast Ohio businesses, higher education institutions, community organizations and foundations, religious institutions and governmental agencies. These networking opportunities will position the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy as a valuable resource for addressing energy industry issues impacting northeast Ohio.
