AABE Virginia Chapter Partners with Concerned Black Men – for Black Energy Awareness Month (“BEAM”)

AABE Virginia Chapter members, Jeff Washington and Walter Baker, launched the Chapter’s BEAM activities by partnering with the Concerned Black Men.  They gave a presentation on “Electric Safety” and “Personal Responsibility” to approximately twenty 6th grade students at Boushall Middle School located at 3400 Hopkins Road, Richmond, VA 23234 on October 23, 2014.

The next presentation will be given to 8th grade students at the Franklin Military Academy located at 701 N. 37th St. Richmond, VA 23223 on October 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM.  If an AABE Virginia Chapter member desires to attend the rewarding experience, please contact Jeff Washington by Monday, October 27, 2014 at Virginia@aabe.org.
