Welcome to the AABE Denver Area Chapter Website
Dear Members and Guests:
On behalf of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), I welcome you to the Denver Area Chapter (DAC) website. The DAC is one of five chapters in the Western Region of the organization. Member companies include (but are not limited to): XCEL Energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), SDS Petroleum, Forest City Stapleton and Duke Energy Field Services.
The DAC is the first chapter chartered with AABE and was started by the AABE National Founder, Clarke Watson. The newly-elected AABE National President and Chief Operating Officer, Frank Stewart, is also a member of our chapter. The DAC is proud to host the 2007 Western Regional Conference in August.
Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking. As you navigate through our website, please take the time to discover viable information about AABE's mission, its leadership, and how you can get involved in community activities.
I look forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
Sheila Terry
